Welcome to Citrus College!
As you begin spring semester 2010, you will notice that the Citrus College campus continues to grow and expand as we build for your future. Additional parking is available in two off-campus lots on Foothill Boulevard to replace spaces lost to construction. Because adjusting to this change will require patience and flexibility from all members of the Citrus College community, our faculty and staff are committed to helping you navigate this temporary inconvenience.
Here are some tips to consider and use in getting to, from, and around campus.
- Follow city ordinances. Most of the neighborhoods near Citrus College have restricted parking. If you park in these areas, your vehicle will be ticketed and/or towed. In addition, the college is cooperating with the City of Glendora and the Glendora Police Department to ensure that these laws are enforced.
- Avoid parking at the shopping centers. The nearby shopping centers also have restricted parking for their customers' convenience. If you park there for an extended period, your vehicle may be ticketed and/or towed.
- Plan ahead. Visit our website - www.citruscollege.edu - for parking updates. A link, "Campus Parking Status," is located on the upper left column of the home page and you can download a current map. Also, be sure to visit the Parking Update website and learn how you can qualify for Free Parking if you park in the Annex lots between now and March 11.
- Arrive early. Arrive at least 30 minutes early the first 2 weeks of school to allow for parking and walking to class.
- Use our auxiliary lots. Citrus Annex parking lots 1 and 2 are located on Foothill Boulevard on the APU campus and are a 10 to 15-minute walk to the center of the campus.
- Go Green. Carpools create community. Local Foothill Transit routes can deliver you to our doorstep - visit www.foothilltransit.org for details.
