Winter 2012 Testing Center Protocols

Please:

· Deliver exams (adapted, DE, and make-up) no later than one business day before the exam (by 8 p.m.). Exams must include instructions and may be sent by email, in person, or by student in a security envelope.

· If an instructor is unsure of the names of students taking make-up or adapted exams, instructions should note: "Give exam to anyone who asks."

· Instructors may provide the Testing Center with all of the exams for the entire semester.

Additional Procedures for Adapted Testing:

· Instructors will arrange the testing time with the student.
Note: Test times for students requiring proctor assistance (reader and/or scribe) will be subject to availability of DSP&S testing staff. Please allow for flexibility.

· If the student requires large print or Braille for the exam, the exam must be delivered to the Testing Center a minimum of one week in advance.
Note: The official proctoring date of exams to be converted to large print or Braille will be one week after delivery to Testing Center.
