Citrus Safety Plans

Injury and Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP)
An IIPP is a written commitment to maintain an effective safety program. It describes how employees and employers share the responsibility for a safe work environment, how employees may be trained and disciplined, how hazards may be identified, evaluated and reported, and how accidents may be investigated and unsafe work conditions corrected.

Hazard Communication Plan (HCP)
The Hazard Communication or "Right-to-Know" Program documents how employees may work safely around chemical hazards in the work place. This is accomplished by explaining how to find and understand information on Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and on container labels of chemicals, by training staff to use the correct handling procedures and using personal protective equipment when using work place chemicals.
